Vehicles in Germany's Town Found Smeared with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police mentioned they were contacted by a individual who found a vehicle in Hanau marked with reddish liquid

Around fifty automobiles have been smeared with what seems to be blood from a person in the Germany's municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Automobiles, walls and postal boxes were marked, occasionally with swastikas, they reported in a official communication.

Law enforcement say they were alerted late on Wednesday evening, when a resident noticed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a reddish liquid.

The liquid had been placed in the form of a swastika, they stated.

Officers then discovered multiple other smeared cars and house walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations banning the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Police report preliminary tests show the fluid was likely human blood.

"There is still no lead as to its origin; authorities are currently not cognizant of any harm in connection with the incident," they stated.

Local authorities announced they were trying "to solve the mystery" and have requested to the community for information.

An important political figure commented the attack made him without words and needed to be solved promptly.

"This incident hits the center of Hanau and revives the trauma of the extremist terrorist attack half a decade ago," he wrote on a platform, referring to the murder of nine victims by a assailant targeting individuals of immigrant origin in 2020.
